Hockey Career

Jack E. Pidcock was born in Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask., and received his early education at Saint John's College, Winnipeg. He later graduated from the University of Manitoba, with a B.A. degree, specializing in mathematics.

While attending the university, Pidcock played on the celebrated team which won the Allen Cup in 1928, alternating at center with Andy Blair, who rose to further prominence with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League. In 1931 Pidcock toured Europe with the Manitoba Grads, world champions of that year.

Jack Easton Pidcock, was an exceptionally talented athlete. His hockey career was star-studded as a member of the 1928 Allen Cup winners and the 1931 World Hockey Champion Team.
